Memories that still live with us

Yesterday , i was reading an article on brain...it said that the human brain is approximately 75% water. It also published if you could harness the power used by your brain, you could power a 10-watt light bulb.

Though I was amazed by this research, i also hoped that the article had published something on how much memory a human brain contains? How does it retain the things like "i ran on foot to the finish line after my bycycle broke down in cycling competition in school" yet it so swiftly erase the memory of things like... "the theories that i learnt by heart before my machine design examination in college" :)

Memories are so important to us. They give us a snapshot of what you truely are. It also gives you immense strength when you think about an accomplishment from the past.

There are beautiful memories from child hood such as what things would bring a smile on your sister's face. It provides you an instant access to the wonderful world, where you are a reigning champion.

I remember,
I used to cycle my way to the school alongwith my brother.
How we used to run our bicycles against hot and arid summer waves when mercury tocuhed 45 degree centigrate. Upon reaching home, mom would give us energetic lemonade with we could see she was proud of us.. That gave us the spirit and strength to achieve anything.
Both used to get soaked up with rain water during monsoon season.. and our teachers would scold us for coming in wet dress. All these are beautiful memories.

Today, even while working in till late nights in office, there are these memories..which brings smiles to our face even in pressure situation.

Another fact about brain...
...your brain is capable of having more ideas than the number of atoms in the known universe!

Writing this blog was one..!!!
