A Saturday at Home

Feels good to be home on saturday.
It think, its is my first saturday off in many weeks now. Boss while giving this break, hinted for a tough week ahead. Ha ha..it feels like a chicken at a butchers house.

As always , i had decided to spend memorable time on the weekend. In the morning i went on to play Squash in a nearby Sports Club. Heat took a toll on me today, I can say that i barely survived multiple heat strokes while playing. Although i tried my best to knock this guy down, but could only manage to snatch 3 wins in 7 matches. Neverthless, it was fun to sweat out the tiredness i had gathered this week at job.

Another happening... Tashi Resgined..! This week, one of my close friend sumbmitted the resignation to our Boss. At one hand i feel bad to be parting with such a good company while on the other i am happy for her. She made it to a top B school in US on full scholarship.

Tashi . Good luck to you for your studies, and hey i am not going to stop commenting on your sandals. Which one you had today..not the mashroom one .. : ) i hope . I wish i could catch youther in indiana soon.

Day is till very strong and i have my plans .....

5 Breaks Night

Tonight was one of the most fun filled nights i have had in quite some time. Reminiscent of the nightouts that in the college. It was 5 breaks night. My friend buzzed me around 7 PM , i was still working in office waiting for the clock hands to strike 7.30 to catch my cab which takes me back to home. He offered me to drop at home by his car and planned to stop for maggie from the famous roadside magggie walla.

5 breaks night

This story circumlocutes Myself, My friend and His Blue colored Maruti 800(93 model) Car. Car which was in shambles. At first look, this crumbling didnt look strong enough to carry a "1 quintal" person plus a "half quintal" person to their destination 50 kms away. Nevermind..the Manoromic Journey had just begun amidst Cool weather and strong winds.

1st Break: The car stopped in the 5 km of this 50 km long journey. And i found myslef laughing and making calls to friends..meanwhile my friend looked into the issue only to find out that "The car's got heated up, We need to wait till it Cools down ".

It seems a waiting time of nearly 20 minutes wasnt good enough to coool the car..So we Push Started the Car.. I pushed it ..for 200 mtrs.. with all the energy. The damnit started and we rolled.

2nd, 3rd and 4th Break:
Our happiness was short lived as the car had its own course. It stopped whenever and wherever she wanted to..in the middle of a busy road, on a sharp turn...or just short of an incline. The places kept on changing, but the only helping hand rather "my pushing hand" was always there...behind it.

5th Break :
By now i was pretty comfortable with this whole game, i felt no shame in getting out and making the car run with my hand..infact i felt a sense of accomplishment everytime i started it by pushing. But this final...break..was may be due to empty tank..and this was the last worst thing that could happen. No petrol means..a still car..which cant be started even by pushing. Luckily, we reached a nearby petrol pump. And this time...we asked the service men at the gas station to push the car. Only to be stopped by a sardarji who requested us to push his car( ha ha....this fateful night had even more targets). We chuckled and knowing our bad condition, decided to help this man and his ailing car. We pushed his car..not by our hands though. This time we did it with the help of our car which was still running. My friend slowly..stapled our car's front to the sardarji car's back and pumped our car..wonderfully...the car started! We recieved a thumbs up as a gesture of thanks...and moved on !!!

I have no reason to condemn my friend's car. For it gave me a wodnerful break from the daily hustle and bustle. I had not laughed this much in past few months. Altough i dont wish to be in such situation again, still what more to expect in a cool windy night?

If i were.....

Imagination Unlimited. Thats what is flashed right at top of my blog.
In this post i am willing to expand my wings of imagination. I am going to pen down my first thoughts on the topics which will start like "If i were......".
I expect you to do the same excercise and lets pleadge to bravely pen our first thoughts and nothing else...even if its a bit crappy.. I am saying this..cause u can expect crappy stuff from my side as well. :)

Ok. Lets start:

1) If i were still a final year student of my college : I would have shaven my head, In office, i just cant do it.

2) IF i were a president: I would have aspired to become the prime minister, he holds the power to India.

3) If i were not working at the Present Company: I would be working at some butcher house..atleast there i would be killing ...instead of being slaughtered.

4) If i were in army: I would be distributing bombs to my relatives on diwali.

5) If i were a women: I would have gone for plastic surgery, As i dont look good but I want to take part in Miss India Contest.

6) If i were at my dads place: I would have let my son break his P.T. teacher teeths when she slapped him infront of whole school..primarily infront of the girl he liked.

7) If i were alone in an Island : No idea, i need people to talk..!..I will befriend the monkeys. I want to learn to climb and jump from tall tress without falling.

8) If i were alone in a desert: Cant do much...will make Vitamin D in wholesale.

9) If i were having a ferrari: Wud have never joined a software firm.

10) If i were an idiot: Whats new...i Still Am !

Is it time to CoMe OuT oF CrIcKeTt?

They say cricket is a Gentelmen's Game. 5 day test match, its an agni pareksha of any team's ability, it is gruelling! Then comes, the thrilling One day International, a nail biting phenomenon and latest to join the cricket club is the classy "20-20" which could be compared to a see-saw game where even the under-performers register wins over talented teams. Being a part of nation, where cricket is a religion; I had intially no choice but to follow it. Although i did like to play it (" i am a left arm fast bowler and right handed batsman") but i dont have a genuine flair for this game. Moreso, it's been 15 years that i have followed this game, but now we have got choices. Formula 1, Tennis, Golf, Football, Baseball, BasketBall, Table Tennis, Billiards, Rugby.
Now, with the age of technological advacements more sophistication is incorporated in all such sports. All major tournaments in these sports are now broadcasted on ESPN, Star Sports and Ten Sports.

India has vowed to become an economic power house of world in next 20 years, we also hold the prestige of running the largest democracy in the world. We registered ourselves as a Nuclear Power long time back. I think, it's high time that india showed its prowess in sports arena also. Sports are the inside view of any nation's strength. They not only showcase Nations Youth determination but also put a nation at the same platform vis a vis other mighty countries. After IT , Telecom and Business Ventures, it can be sports which will lead India to foray into the still unkown territories and make herself known, before we declare ourselves a Developed Economy.

Besides all above, it will also embolden indian youth with career opportunties in other sports . All these games are being followed all around the world. We need to come out of Cricket and embrace other sports with open hands. The condition of hockey , our national game is not hidden. Why is that, despite huge efforts by the indian hockey federation, the game has not been able to gain its rightful position? Probably, ICL and IPL were better answers to the Hockey league matches. But When it comes to speed nothing matches a Ferrari. And thats where Formula 1 beats cricket.

Sports: Ferrari's all the Way to the Podium (Formual 1)

The Ferrari's dominated this years Bahrain Grand Prix played today on the circuit "Sakhir". Felipe Massa who held 2nd position in the qualifying converted it into the 1st on the race day. His team mate raining champion Kimi Raikonnen stood 2nd. It was again an impressive show by the BMW's , Robert Kubica finsihed 3rd in the Race.

Disappointment surrounded the Mclarens-Mercedes in todays race. Lewis hamilton despite among the leaders in the qualifying couldnt fetch a single point. He had to suffer to a mechanical fault that occured in his car during the first lap.

Massa bagged the first position here after not having won a single point in the First 2 grand prix's. In all his was a marvelous performance. In the wake of ferrai, BMW's again proved they have the speed, the technology and a team that can beat Mclaren's hegemony in the F1 championship.

Alonso survived a major brush against Hamiltons car to take 10th place. Today's result puts Raikonen in the Lead for the Driver championship with 19 points, ahead of Heidfield on 16.
In the constructors’ chase, BMW Sauber lead with 30, ahead of Ferrari on 29 and McLaren on 28.

Sports: BMW Overtaking Ferrari (Bahrain GP)

I think, i am now perfectly suitable for MBA. My risk taking abilities are just finding the right direction. This time i told my boss that BMW is gonna get the pole position, instead of choosing from the favourites Ferrari and Maclaren.

On Saturday, BMW's Robert Kubica(Polish) went on for the maiden pole position in the qualifying round of Sakhir(The Bahrain Circuit) and has set the cat among the pigeons . Second and third place was bagged by Felipe Massa (Brazilian) and the (briton) Lewis Hamilton.

Kubica deserved it, after pushing hard for the rest of the lap, despite big vibrations, after he flat-spotted a front tyre in Turn. Kimi Raikkonen (Ferraru) looked a bit disappointed with his ferrari's balance but hes not let go of it like this and will be agressive on the race today on sunday.
The race braodcast will start on starsports at 4.00 PM (IST). I will be back with Post Race Analysis (My Own Chequered Flag) :)

What my Lunch Time means to me?

I was thinking..about the best part of my typical day.
I took up this activity quite seriosuly, so that once decided, i can do more of that work and thereby increase my level of happiness or the "fun quotient" in my life.

Before jumping to the answer i have pondered over it for few minutes:
1) Can it be the 3 hours travelling time? ..NO!... My good friend doesnt sit with me now...i am rather bored during the journey However, i m quite happy for her... "someone reading this knows whom i m refering to :)"

2) Can it be ..the 10 hours of software development work where i feel more like a slaughtered pig...certainly not!

3) Can it be the time after i reach home?... .its been over a month that the amount of time that get for home is on an average 7 hours. Out of this 7, i use 5 hours for sleeping, and rest of the time gets divided into eating, drinking, bloggin, bathing and getting myself dressed.

4) Lunch time: It happens primarily between 1 PM to 2 PM. YEAP! :)
Its the lunch time that i cherish the most during my whole day. I think , i cant do justice to this 1 hour , even if i write it in 1000 lines.

To start with, its the only life saving supplement that i have in my whole day. Its a joy ride. It starts with Smiles on our faces and ends with a gulab-jamun. 7 friends meet together on a lunch table and decide their future course of action to prevent their life from being lost in the world of softwares. It is this time, that our hidden talents peeps out from our resting souls.
Discussions range from Osama to Sania Mirza, from grass eating animals to sea creature like octopus, from my boss to hi boss to her boss, from IT to Finance to Event Management, from shaddi.com-to- second shaddi.com -to- third shaddi.com. All this is done with a primary goal- Laughter! It refreshes the sleeping person inside us, just like a holi dip in ganga. I cant even imgaine my life now without this 1 hour of Laughter therapy. I so badly need it, so do you, shishir :) i m sure.

P.S.
Sakshi, Priyanka, Shishir, Neeraj, Shilpi, Aditi and Shivani. Thanks a tonne for this good time that i am relishing so much. I know, its very tough for you guys to bear my ideas some times...but than...if i am not present who is going to extract gulab jamun treats from prinks :)

Quick facts about Bahrain F1 GP

Tommorow will be the day of the qualifying round of the Bahrain GP. It is the third F1 race of the season. With the first 2 races in the kitty of Ferrari and Mclaren, 1 each; its goning to be an another nail biting race between the 2 arch-rivals. Infact , BMW which has performed very well in this season till now by clinching 2 and 3rd postions , though they also stand a good chance to be part of the constructors championship.

Quick Facts about Bahrain Grand Prix :
The curcuit is known as Sahkir circuit
Its a curcuit with 57 Laps
Length of one lap is approx 5.5 km

Whats makes this race thrilling is that its curcuit is in the middle of a desert. Which makes this race tougher than other races. It has pumping winds, hot climate, sand and dust storms. What else to expect in a race?

My favourite this time would be kimmi raikonnen and why is that?
Kimmi have finished third in three successive times in Bahrain and Ferrari has traditionally been very strong there. But its a motor racing and what ever can happen.

After the new regualtions of the cars, anti skidding systems have been removed. Its going to be a tough season for all racers. This time they really have to fight for every point they can get.

Thats all from F1 corner..Will keep on updating.

Just another thought

Today, i could enter my home only by 1 AM. I was always a noctunal creature. But heres a difference. At other times i used to stay up till early morning so as to complete reading a novel or a movie.. However, these days, its the work at office which makes me burn the midnight oil.

2 conflicting thoughts surrounds me when i over work.
1) I see my colleagues, and other friends leaving office at time (6PM) and there i am staying till 11 PM, mostly working alone trying to understand the client requirements. I feel, if i am missing something in life or not?

2) Second thought, is attributed to my determination, a strong will, that i will never mind hard work for success. To achieve my goals as fast as possible.

By the time i reach home, its the 2nd thought which prevails over the 1st.

And to my mom whom i always say:

"Hum aise loggon mein se nahi...jo masti se kaam karte hain"
"Hum aise loggon mein se hain...jo kaam mein masti karte hain"

A date with Beautiful Weather

I was woken up by mom at 6.30 A.M IST
As ususal, i started my day by reading major headlines from the Hindu and beauiful tracks running on Radio Mirchi. Then i took the stairs up to reach the garden on our house roof. Much to my amusement, it was "Bindass Mausam". Cool Breeze was flowing, for 2 minutes i just stood there with closed eyes and had wind through my hairs. With 2 long breaths i opened my eyes, What a lovely weather; i said to myself and returned downstairs to get myself ready for the office.

During my 2 hour journey towards the office, i kept the windows open and consumed as much fresh air as i my lungs can take it.

Standing in front of my GG4 ASF towers, i felt no excitment to get to my cubicle, but then work has to be started, important client calls waiting...

Now the consequences of good weather:
1) Drank 5 cups of caffien today inorder to spend time in the balcony at 6th floor.
2) 1 hour of lunch instead of usual 20 minutes.
3) Left office at 6 PM instead of usual 10 PM... :P
4) Writing this entry sitting in the balcony..still enjoying the beautiful weather.

I am loving it. May tommrow be the same day.

Book Review Club

I have finally found the place wherein i can meet other book lovers.
An email from my office Library today called for nominations for a Book Review Club (BRC). And it didnt take me a second thought to apply for the membership.

Following opportunities would be available for grab in the BRC, the email said.
1) know the details / features of the book under review
2) read and recommend latest books (Associate can select title of their interest for reading and recommendation)
3) present / attend "Book Review" sessions
4) be declared as "Patron of the Library" and win award

I plan to take full benefit of the BRC in a way i would meet other readers, get to know about interesting titles and authors, i will also be able to get some hard to find books from other associates which i have been looking for quite some time now.

I also would like to suggest the members of the BRC and to the Library for forming another club which will make monthly newsletter. This will provide a platform to the people to show their writing skills, moreover they can write about their experiences with their projects or with the company or showcase a recent sonnet that they have written.

Last but not the least i plan to become the Patron of the Library and the Editor-in-Chief of the Newletter(if the plan gets an apporval).

Running thoughts..

I lie comfortably on my chair,

Tying to reach a settlement on the topic of my nxt post.

This weekend which has already converted into a monday now..was full of events

1) I played about 12 squash games (saturday and sunday), pure sign..that my stamina is building.

2) I had a hair cut ...( damn..thats 1 quintal of weight removed from my head..i feel lighter by just about same amount )

3) I also helped my mom get a new refrigerator. I am very impressed by a thing...that i have come to know about me during this whole...Go get refrigerator episode...

I notched up a great deal of discount on it from a showroom..where people say its fixed price. ( even if they quote a wrong price by mistake..they will sell it on that amount)

Now, how did i do that?---> During my talks with showroom sales man , i came to know that this company gives some discount to its own employees on its products. So i made this salesman...tell his company that i was from his family..and i secured a 7 % discount. In return i gave samles man 500 bucks , roughly 2 % of the fridge amount...so i saved myself 5 % money.

So, i am impressed by my bargaining skills...not quite sure when i developed it. :)

Some scientist said...its the right part of brain...which helps u do bargaining...

What a relief..i always thought..there is nothing left in the right part of my brain.. :)

4) To the best of my culinary efforts, i made an egg omellete today. By any standards, it was an awesome black forest pastry. I think , i am going to sue the Frying pan company who claims that its frying pan is a non stick..."my egg is still glued to it....."

5) I have completed reading the best seller novel by jeffery arche "kane and abel". It was a sad story ...it would have been better ..if kane and abel had fought with knives..instead of ...dying..sadly in their own homes..

6) i have purchased an expensive car polish...(silicon shine).. for my Ford Ikon 1.6 nxt model..

It gave my car a showroom finish..i now consider the car as my ferrari again.. :)

7) ...hang on.... i am about to sleep..its 1.36 AM...holy crap office is waiting for me ..past 2 days)

Sports: Ferrari heads the Qualifying Session of the Malaysian Grand Prix

The qualifying round of Malaysian Grand Prix of this season completed today with Ferrai taking a lead. This is the second race of this Formula 1 season. The circuit is called Sepang, which is situated on the outskirts of the scenic Kuala Lampur.

Following are the race statistics:
Number of laps- 56 laps.
Circuit Length -5.543 km
Race Distance:310.408 km
Lap Record:1:34.223 - JP Montoya (2004)
The climate condition wil be hot and humid. With the chances of rain as well during the race.

The qualifying round today had a plenty of whooping moments. The mighty Massa went on to claim the pole position in the tommorrow's race. He was followed by his ferrari teammate, the raining champion Kimmi Räikkönen, who ousted Massa in the 2nd round of qualifying but was short of half second to his team mate in the Q3.
Last year also, Malaysian grand prix was dominated by Ferrari's. Their biggest rivals, the Maclarens this time around were only able to secure 3rd and 4th spots. Heikki Kovalainen held 3rd and the formidable Lewis Hamilton 4th position respectively. Much to the drivers humiliation, a post qualifying meeting of the stewards decided to slip both of the Maclarens by 5 positions each. Since they were held guilty of blocking the way of rival drivers in the closing stages of the qualifying.

Details of the qualifying round can be found in the below attached link
http://www.formula1.com/results/season/2008/788/
http://www.formula1.com/news/headlines/

An Inspired "ForceIndia" team again failed to deliver. With the racers Giancarlo Fisichella standing 17th and Adrian Sutil claiming 21st position. While the team attributed their abysmal perfomance to bad weather conditions and that their cars did not peform with the soft set of tyres. While they showed optimism for the future races and are looking forward in the right direction to raise the level of their game.

Altogether, it was an interesting session, with the indication that Ferrari have an edge, and that McLaren will be relying on the start again to stage a repeat of last year’s success.

Classification

In continuation to my previous post.
My not so brilliant mind has come up with a solution to prevent angry comments on my blogs.
From today onwards i am going to classify my posts in following areas:

1) General Nonsense ( Thats humor to me).
2) Sonnet Poems
3) Sports
4) Movie Reviews
5) Book Reviews
6) Everything Else

The reader has now the option to decide prehand that he/she wants to read the post and test his/her limits of patience or not.

Humor is Subjective

My yesterday's post have caused a lot stir among my readers.
Comments were more or less divided between people who were deeply offended and people who think the post was one of the best art works by my imaginative mind.
Humor is highly subjective. If i tell a joke, it may be amusing to one person while the other person finds it difficult to gulp down. There cannot be a joke which is appreciated by everyone.
All people are free to express their views, in the same manner i express them here.

Am i Wrong?

Whenever i sit down, to start writing a post. My strategy is to write about something which is obnoxiously stupid. I dont find straight things and concepts interesting. The idea is to explore the hidden meanings , or to delve your imagination in any direction substantiated by some logic or a meaning analysis.
There are things that are bound to happen. They are definite.
There are things that will happen. They are like almost certain.
There are things that may happen. It is just a mere possibility.
There are things that can happen only when you start dreaming. Its fantasy.

So it is this boundary between certain and mere possibility. That i want to station myself. Thats going to be my forte. I will imagine things, that may happen and that provide interests to me.

Anyway, I had to answer a lot of angry comments posted on the blog or personally delivered to me. Here’s a typical comment I received, with my answer at the bottom.

In a Message dated 22/03/2008 11.25 PM, Indian Standard Time, the reader writes
"Most crappy stuff I have ever read."

My Response:
"Thank you for taking time out from feeding the poor to complain about my humor strip"

Time for the Malaysian Grand Prix. I just hope that the "ForceIndia" drivers this time atleast complete their race if not a podium finish.

Adeos!

Single but Married

At first..it seems a seemingly easy line to understand..
Albeit, this opens up a whole gamut of thought patterns....there is something irky about this line..which cajoled me to pen them.

"Single but Married" by definition is a state where a person lives a secluded life even when he/she is married. This can happen when their thoughts dont match, their souls starts detesting each other's presence..they send each other "kill me vibes" , or just that their prefrences have changed ( like..the guy wants to hang out with another guy instead of with his wife...or the lady discovers that her taste his actually not in boys..but aha..i shud not explain everything..) .

Can we now apply this thing to other communities..
Like Dogs.. can they be "single but married".. Before i go deep into its analysis.. lets first understand: What does a Single/ Married status in Dogs clique mean.

A Single Dog is a Dog who is currently not seeing any bitch. He may have actually tried out the things before but right now..he is not seeing anyone..not even another male.
A married Dog is a Dog who is seeing a bitch. They get along well on the roads. And are currently involved in all those activities under open sky..that the homosapiens prefer to do.. in closed rooms.

As we are now aware of the terminologies, i can delve more into the analysis part of this question...Can a married Dog be single?
Yes, he can be. Dogs are like humans. Infact, i wont be surprised too much...if some day a scientist gets a way to fathom their language, and finds out that these Dogs community calls us.."The dogs" and consider themselves humans. Suppose, a Dog is seeing a bitch, it is quite possible, that he is interested in other bitches as well...like..."sisters/friends" of his "girlfriend/ wife". So, he is emotionally not connected with his bitch. Given a chance he would flee with his bitch's sister..because the sister is more beautiful/has a better sense of humor/barks sweeter or whatever the reason be. This is a familiar behaviour in humans, who are married..but dont feel thing about each other, they are still single at heart.

Hence Proved. DOG can be "single but married"

P.S. I got inspired to write about this topic...while talking to a friend, who did not inspired me to write this..but in a way constituted this idea.
In case you want to kill me for writing this bull shit. Please...she should also get her share.
In B/W she is a human psycologist. After this post, i think i have qualified to become a DOG psycologist as well.

I can make some money out of it..You may get your dearest ..dogs or bitches to me..i will solve their emotional problems and help them live a happpier life.

Future Looks Good

Since when i was a child i dreamt a dream
To be a person who leaves an indelible impression on all things,
I made it a habit to learn from my environment
I am living a life i always wanted.
I am liking it. So far so good..!
There are people who live in past.
There are people who live in present.
I am one of those who live in future.
My degree of happiness today depends on what i wish to become in future.
I dont want to look back..for what gone is gone.
I am an optimist, Future looks good, thats why i am happy today.

Guys, this is my five minute catharisis "pritual Purification". It just flowed out of me.. but these words creates tremendous amount of energy around me.

Heres an Idea. I think, if i become better at what i am trying to say in above lines..better in terms of delivery and content...i can become a good preacher. Well....Lots of money...Name...Fame...wow..Future definetly looks good. :)

My First Poem

Basking in sun an Idea strikes,
Get rid of code and email fights,
Just i want to write a poem,
Can i create better then a mayhem,

Must you have a soul who thinks,
At that instant my courage shrinks,
Confidence is what you need my friend,
Just 10 such lines to set a trend,

A moment pause fires the thoughts,
Like a perfect potter shape your pots,
Apply your heart share the humor,
Prepare a delicacy with lots of sugar,

All your efforts are ready to dine,
Its the time to enjoy this fragrance fine.

Imagine

If you ask me to list all the good creations of god, it would be like this:
-A Women (From my eyes)
-A Man (From her eyes)
-Life ( Be it human, animals, birds)
-Water bodies ( like, Oceans which emobies all forms of life)
-Snow clad Mountains

But what would be the best of all. Can it be our brain?
Nothing matches a brain. If we pause to think, we start running in a beautiful garden, where you have various colorful flowers. Each flower opens up a unique possibility.

It this imagination that makes all things surrounding us so interesting.

Ever thought - What would happen if one of our legs is shorter( 5-8 inches) as compared to the other one?
- You will have problems running a car, one of your legs wont reach the ground when you are ridiing a bike.
- One leg of your pants will be shorter.
- If all people try to walk in straight line, there is a possibility that they collide with each other.
- All sorts of games which involves use of legs will get affected.

We pick up any topic and pause for a moment. And this opens up whole gamut of possibilities that makes it all interesting!

Finding Blog

Just now i noticed , how bizarre it is to navigate using NextBlog button situated right on the top of this website.
In order to read other blogs posted on the website, i clicked on the Button "NextBlog". What comes up,is a beautifully designed blog written in a language that i do not understand. Henceforth i deicided to move on by clicking NextBlog. Another beautiful blog but couldnt fathom the language.I clicked again and again and again. On the 7th occasion, I reached a blog, which had hided the NextBlog Button in its design, so no movement further possible.

I went to my blog and again started with NextBlog Button. This time it hit the bulls eye.

Chances are bleak, that you find blogs of your own choice.
Now, what does all this activity suggests:
1) Probability of a hitting a blog ( In English) -> Comes out to be 1 out of 7.
2) I should learn more languages.
Otherwise, a wiser way to tackle this would be to add a new feature like (Select language) along with the nextblog button.
Till than, i will keep on trying my luck.

A Question With an Answer

Today is the 2nd day after "I finally managed myself to start Blogging again".

Have just arrived home from office. Was another hectic day at work: 2 hours of morning journey toward office, 4 hours of resolving serverity max defects of my code, 30 minutes of quick lunch and a short walk with an icecream, another 4 hours of resolving serverity(max) defects, finally left(The word is -ran away) the office to start 2 andhalf hours of journey towards my home.

Its amazing how stupid one can become in just 2 years of joining IT industry. I laugh on any bad joke that floats around me, i start giving advises to anyone who looks tensed( Advises which i would never follow for me religiously). If somebody laughs at me, i make sure he does not laugh again. You people dont know me...but please "Trust me" , i was not like this.

My friends made me realize that my sense of humor has peaked new lows and if i dont stop sharing my office jokes (also called PJs) attrition rate of my friend circle will achieve new heights.

Recently, my Boss gave an advise to me: Abhishek, If you want to win the war, Be zero in EQ and 5 in IQ. (0-5 scale). Crap! What war are you talking about? I aint a warrior. If at all, you have want to advise, please show me the way to increase my IQ.

You would have made out by now some of my qualities:
1) I have a database of Patheitc Jokes.
2) I give advises to people( Though, i know i am not competent enough or an expert to analyze those issues) .
3) I get flamed easily.
3) I have become a higly sentimental person.
4) I have lost my creatvity ( Everyone has it- till you loose it)
5) Also, i like things when they go wrong. ( like i have realized that numbering is wrong in these points, but i dont want to correct it)

If make you guys believe, that I was a lot different person when was studying in college. And i assume that you agree to me.

Then my question to you is :

What makes such changes in behaviour after joining an IT industry or any job.

probably, its because of some chemical reaction that deactivates your brain?

Blues in my life (After i become an IT Engg)

Yesterday, boss sent an e-mail to my lotus notes. Subject was :L1B Individual US VISA Process. I jumped on my seat..and showed all the happiness in the world....yoo ..Dude..America is Calling.

Tring..!! There goes my alarm.."Wake up Freak"..

Yes, that is what i saw in my dream last night :) "Smile"

Think, an IT engineer does not always have such good dreams. Mostly, he spends his/her night in the cubicle working overtime to complete the Code or he/she is so tired that actually forgets to dream.

"Ha Ha Ha Ha......Ha Ha Ha Ha.......Ha Ha Ha Ha" This is what i do in front of the mirror every morning. WHY??

Becuase "Laughter is the Best Therapy". If you are an IT engineer then you need this therapy. As there has to be something else which makes you smile than dreaming about Onsite trips in UK and US.

1) I like to try new things, the idea of doing something new...send me strong "GO FOR IT" vibes.
So, i joined Salsa classes.

2) I also play Table Tennis, Squash and Lawn Tennis, Bowling.. "Keeps me Fit and Happy".

3) I write blogs, what an interesting way to express yourself.

4) I watch movies on a projector and listen to songs on Ipod...(Use Technology where you can...it makes you feel good).

5) I am still connected to my branch (Polymer and Chemical Engg). I read about all the R & D going in this field. I wrote book on Nanotechnology..and about to complete another oe on cancer treatment using Nanotech. Idea is to stay connected to your base branch...( this gives me satisfaction..which sometimes my job doesnt grant me)

So what if Ruppee is Rising..!..( Keep dreaming about Dollars..and Onsite ) :)
